Reservation Policy
Check-in time is at 3:00 pm and check-out at 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged with an agent. Keys must be returned to the office to avoid extra charges.
Payment methods: We accept credit cards (Visa or MasterCard) through Pay Pal for your convenience. You may also pay with cash, cashier check, or traveler checks. In order to hold a reservation, we require a deposit of $250.00 dlls though this amount may be subject to change for some homes. The full amount of rent is due upon arrival. We prefer you pay the deposit by CC through Pay Pal. However, you can also send a cashier check to our P.O. Box #1001 in Lukeville, AZ 85341. If payment is not done with a credit card, we must receive a security deposit within 7 days of the booking. You will receive a confirmation letter once we receive the deposit.
Security deposit: Refundable 12 days after departure.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do it 25 days prior to your arrival in order to get your money back, minus $100.00 of cancelation fee. If you cancel your reservation within less than 25 days prior to you reservation, deposit will be lost. There are no refunds for early departures.
Occupancy: Each home and condo that we rent allows a maximum number of people per unit. Damage deposit can be lost if number is exceeded. You may be subject to eviction without return of your rental payment as well. Please treat rentals with respect.
Location: Mar de Cortez Rentals is located at Plaza Mision del Mar on Fremont Blvd just before you enter the road to Las Conchas. Enter town and at the first traffic light, take a left on Josefa Blvd. Continue straight on Josefa, go over the rail tracks and you will eventually come to a T. There is a gas station on your left hand side at this point. Plaza Mision del Mar is located behind the gas station. Our office is located on suite # 26 on the right hand side of the Plaza.
Office hours: Our office is open every day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 5:00, please notify the office in advanced to make arrangements for you to check in. Our after-hours contact phone number is (638)112-8194 (local).
NOTE: Mar de Cortez Rentals cannot be responsible for lack of electricity due to power outages having anything to do with storms, the electrical company (CFE) or by any other means out of our control. Nor can we be held responsible for water shortages which occur due to the limited amount of water in the town of Puerto Peñasco or Las Conchas development. If at all possible, every effort will be made to find you other accommodations within our inventory.
